Open Book Earrings | Reclaimed Sterling Silver | Cozy Autumn Collection

The idea for these earrings came to me just as I was falling asleep. I’ve learned to keep paper and pencil nearby for those half-dream, half-awake ideas that like to slip away.

These earrings feature an open book, though in an abstract way that doesn’t reveal itself right away, and that’s what I love about them. They take a second or third look to really see.

Each pair is made by hand with reclaimed sterling silver, using a mix of square and round wire and plenty of tools.

Earrings are 1 inch in diameter
Drop from ear wires: 1 ½ inches

(Reclaimed sterling silver begins as scrap, melted down, then rolled through a hand-cranked mill. It’s a slow, hands-on process, but it gives each piece a beautiful life and texture.)
