This pendant is part of the Above and Below collection, inspired by a winter walk where animal tracks crossed the ground while birds moved overhead. It is a reminder of the connection between what moves across the earth and what watches from above.
A hand sawn bear paw print is cut through warm copper, giving the impression of a track pressed into the surface. The opening reveals the layer beneath, adding depth and shadow, much like a footprint left behind in snow.
A sterling silver feather curves around the print, its shape suggesting movement and protection. The lines of the feather are hand stamped, echoing the natural texture found in both feather and landscape.
On the reverse, a small banner is stamped with Psalm 91:4, a quiet reminder carried close to the heart.
